COMMUNITY LPFM RADIO
It's what LPFM is all about! Community radio stations are operated, owned, and driven by the communities they serve. Community radio is not-for profit and provides a mechanism for facilitating individuals, groups, and communities to tell their own diverse stories, to share experiences, and in a media rich world to become active creators and contributors of media.
An LPFM Radio Station can enhance your church communications and help increase membership. It can spread your message to people that are unable to attend regular services.
Remember though, you must have a Construction Permit from the FCC to build a LPFM radio station in the United States. If you do not already have a permit, contact Nexus and request information on the application process.
If you do not have an FCC permit and do not intend to obtain one you may wish to have a "Hobby" or neighborhood radio station, please let us know, we can supply information on starting up a Part 15 Am radio station. These stations when setup properly can cover an entire neighborhood or small city!
